We’ve made this chicken fried steak recipe using chicken fried noodles and a chicken broth.

In a small saucepan, melt butter.
Add cornstarchs, stirring constantly to break up the starch.
Add the flour, soy sauce, pepper, and vinegar.
Stir to combine.
Add chicken broth, and water.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Whisk together chicken broth with egg noodles, cornstarchy rice, chicken broth to form a batter.
Place chicken in a bowl and top with chicken fried sauce.
